Glencore Dragline Relocation
The scope of this project consisted of dismantling , Reconstruction and building of new power lines from voltages 11kv up to 400kv lines in order for the dragline to relocate to its new position.

Exxaro – Grootegeluk Diesel Workhop
This is one of Buro Tech’s biggest mine projects, the scope of the work revolves around renovating the existing diesel workshop of the mine to an energy efficient workshop. Krugersdorp Rhodes Food Group Baked Bean Plant
Buro Tech provided the following services to the Rhodes Food Group for the plant. Electrical Services: Lighting Design Electrical Reticulation Electrical Distribution Boards & Motor Control Centres Mechanical Services: Fresh air supplies Extraction

BMK Welverdiend Dam Pump Station
The Project comprised of a new De-watering Pump Station. The MV Equipment includes: 22kV Indoor MV Switch gear, two x 800kVA Indoor Transformers, and associated Extension of Overhead lines and cables. The LV Equipment includes: A 525V MCC for three 170 kW motors Soft Starter drives and auxiliaries for the pumps (two Duty, 1 Standby) at the Pump station, with: PLC, Power Factor Correction, Lighting Transformer, Power Quality Metering and Flow metering and Display, Lighting and small power, Earthing and Lightning Protection, as well as: Selected electronic Equipment related to Control and GSM/SCADA monitoring, Security alarms, beams and electric fences, Smoke detection system, Start-up Siren System Controls, Strobe Light and Audible Alarm The Project was successfully completed and within budget and time constraints.

K03 Surface Pump Station
The Project comprised of a new De-watering Pump Station. 450kVA Outdoor generator and LV cabling. The LV Equipment includes: A 525V MCC for two 148 kW motors Soft Starter drives and auxiliaries for the pumps (one Duty, one Standby) at the Pump station, with: PLC, Lighting Transformer, Power Quality Metering and Flow metering and Display, Lighting and small power, Earthing and Lightning Protection, as well as: Selected electronic Equipment related to Control and SCADA monitoring, The Project was successfully completed and within budget and time constraints.

PCD3 Pump Station
The Project comprised of a new Pump Station. 400kVA Outdoor miniature substation transformer and LV cabling. The LV Equipment includes: A 525V MCC for two 90 kW motors Soft Starter drives and 7,5kW Direct On-line starters with auxiliaries for the pumps (one Duty, one Standby) at the Pump station, with: PLC, Lighting Transformer, Power Quality Metering and Flow metering and Display, Lighting and small power, Earthing and Lightning Protection, as well as: Selected electronic Equipment related to Control and SCADA monitoring, The Project was successfully completed.
